Recombinant, human calcineurin aα (catalytic subunit) and calcineurin b (regulatory subunit) co-expressed with yeast myristoyl-coa:protein n-myristoyltransferase. A ca2 /cam-dependent protein phosphatase. The resulting highly active calcineurin is n-myristoylated on the can b-subunit, as is the native protein. M.W. 60,000 (A subunit) and 15,000 (b subunit).
