Details:
Integrin-linked kinase (human) recombinant protein, rp-75638, from invitrogen.Integrin-linked kinase (ilk1) is a serine/threonine protein kinase, containing 4 ankyrin-like repeats. Ilk1 interacts with the cytoplasmic domains of integrin ß1 and ß3 subunits as well as several adaptors and signalling proteins and acts as a proximal receptor kinase regulating integrin-mediated signal transduction. Ilk1 has been reported to regulate a number of biological properties including anchorage-independent cell cycle progression, tumour cell invasion and apoptosis. Over-expression of ilk1 has been documented in a wide variety of human malignancies. Randox recombinant ilk1 comprises a 452 amino acid fragment (1-452) corresponding to the mature ilk1 full-length protein and is expressed in e. Coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. Rp-75638 contains purified recombinant human integrin-linked kinase protein with an n-terminal hexahistidine tag. Rp-75638 may be used as a positive control in many immunological assays. This protein has a molecular weight of ∽55.92 Kda.
