Oluble tnf receptor ii (human) recombinant protein, rp-75729, from invitrogen.Tnfr2 (tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 1b) is a receptor with high affinity for tnfsf2/tnf-alpha. It has a much lower affinity for homotrimeric tnfsf1/lymphotoxin-alpha. The traf1/traf2 complex recruits the apoptotic suppressors birc2 and birc3 to tnfrsf1b/tnfr2. Tnfr2 mediates most of the metabolic effects of tnf-alpha. This product contains purified recombinant, soluble human tnf receptor-2 protein with an n-terminal hexahistidine tag. This product may be used as a positive control in many immunological assays.
