Neurobasal® Medium

Neurobasal® Medium is a basal medium that meets the special cell culture requirements of pre-natal and embryonic neuronal cells when used with GIBCO® B-27® Supplement. Neurobasal® Medium can be used to grow neuronal cells from hippocampus, cortex and other regions of the brain. Neurobasal® Medium allows for both long and short term maintenance of homogeneous populations of neuronal cells without the need of an astrocyte feeder layer.
