For a highly inert and unreactive seal use thermo scientific™ ptfe/rubber laminated discs. Constructed of white pharmaceutical rubber with 5 mils of ptfe coating bonded to one side, they are excellent for use as cap liners when a highly inert nonreactive seal is desired. Discs are autoclavable with no loss of integrity after heating above 100 °c for five hours.
