Synaptored c1^ is similar to the widely used red fluorescent nerve terminal dye synaptored c2 (70021) except that the lipophilic tail of the latter is one carbon longer than that of the former. Thus, synaptored c1 is expected to have a greater inoff-ratein than synaptored c2 does.
