These 96-well plates are pre-configured with the most appropriate taqman™ gene expression assays for a specific biological process, pathway, or disease state. Each plate contains predefined assays and endogenous controls dried-down in the wells, ready for accurate assessment of an entire gene signature in one simple experiment. The panel of assays in the taqman™ array 96-well human ligand gated ion channels plate targets genes in the 3 superfamilies of the ligand-gated channels: 1) the cys-loop receptors (gabaa receptor family, glycine receptor family, 5-ht receptors⁄serotonin, and nicotinic acetylcholine receptor family); 2) the ionotropic glutamate receptors (ampa, kainate, nmda); and 3) the atp-gated channels (p2x receptors). Also in the panel are genes which encode ion channel family members: chloride channel, trp (transient receptor potential) cation channels, calcium channel, and sodium channel. Additionally one gene from the cyclic nucleotide-gated channel and potassium gated ion channel are also present.
