Verteporfin is a yap inhibitor; disrupts yap-tead interactions. Enhances trypsin cleavage of yap (ec50 = 100 nm). Inhibits growth and proliferation of retinoblastoma cells. Also suppresses cancer stem cell properties in vitro. Suppresses yap-induced liver overgrowth in mice.
